Renting in Houlton

This is more of an inquiry I suppose. I need desperately to move near Houlton, to be close to the border so that I can visit my daughter in Nova Scotia frequently until my permanent residency is approved. Does anyone know if rentals are reasonable around Houlton? Or is there another town nearby you would recommend? Thank you!
